You can use just about any theme to place your Amazon ads, but I use themes that I also can use as autoblogs.
What is an Autoblog?
An autoblog is a blog that updates itself. In other words, content is added to the blog without ant effort. These blogs scrape content from the web and post it to your website. Some people call them spam blogs because the content is not original.
I like autoblogs because I can set and forget them. They add content on autopilot so search engine see the blog as active.
There are 4 Themes that I use and they are all premium themes, in other words they are not for free and you need to buy them:

2. Covert Viral Wizard
Covert Viral Wizard looks like the Tumblr blogs. You can set it to auto post Youtube videos, RSS feeds of other blogs and news feeds. I have used this them to post reviews from Youtube. So I will create a blog for iPhones and then auto post iPhone reviews from Youtube. Every 3 to 4 post will be a Amazon post and I will have relevant Amazon ads in the sidebar of the blog.

3. Covert Video Theme
This theme pulls videos from Youtube, Dailymotion and others. This theme can get a lot of views and rack quickly in search engines, because people love videos and the time on site is high. This lowers your website bounce rate and increases browse retention. Big G loves it whan you publish Youtube videos to you get more Google love. 🙂

4. Xenia Stores
These websites are huge and I think that is why they work so well. These websites are pure store websites and also have a plugin posting items on auto pilot from Amazon. When you have many posts like with Xenia websites, the probability of a page correctly SEO optimised is greater. After penguin and Panda updates a lot of the high competition website disappeared and this opened the door for more website to rank easily.
